Peter Molyneux lämnar Lionhead

Peter Molyneux, hjärnan bakom spel som Populous, {Black & White}, {Theme Park} och förstås {Fable}, kommer att lämna studion Lionhead Studios och Microsoft. Detta rapporterar Kotaku. {Fable: The Journey} blir det sista Lionhead/Microsoft-projektet för Molyneyux:

"It is with mixed emotions that I made the decision to leave Microsoft and Lionhead Studios, the company that I co-founded in 1997, at the conclusion of development of {Fable: The Journey}," berättar Molyneux för Kotaku.

Molyneux lämnar både posten som Lionheads chef och hans kreatörroll på Microsoft Studios Europe. Mark Webley tar över Lionhead-rodret.

Peter Molyneux kommer att gå vidare till nya projekt och en ny studio, som enligt Molles Twitter heter 22 Cans. Molyneux tackar för sig med dessa ord:

"I felt the time was right to pursue a new independent venture. I'd like to thank the team at Lionhead, as well as our partners at Microsoft Studios for their support, dedication and incredible work over the years."
